Welcome to the Curio Cafe at Money's Mill
Money's Mill is an 18th century Grade 2 listed windmill situated in the centre of Sleaford. The mill once formed part of the Slea Navigation as the canal route passed in front of the mill.
John & Isola Partridge acquired the semi-derelict mill in 2007 and set up the "Curio Cafe". This business existed before for three and a half years in Newark on Trent. Why "Curio"? Because as well as supplying food and drink you can purchase a wide range of inexpensive antiques, art, jewellery and other collectable items.
The aim on the food side of the business is to supply high quality local/seasonal food at a competitive price. You can also have a range of teas and coffee, and alcoholic drinks.
John & Isola were proud to have won awards from the Civic Trust for their renovation of the building and also from the Town Council as "best new business". In their previous incarnation of the Curio Cafe in Newark they won Les Routiers awards for their food business.
The Curio Cafe is John & Isola's fourth project of renovation and development of a listed/protected building. On each project John & Isola have sold the business and then moved on to a new project. The mill is for sale with vacant possession for offers over £150,000 as a virtual freehold i.e. a nine hundred and seventy year lease. The business/going concern with fictures and fittings can also be for sale by negotiation. Call us direct to discuss on 01529 309990 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
